“Louis”
Louis and I started 2025 with a high note. He won Owner Handled Group 1 at the Santa Clara Valley Kennel Club January 12 under judge David Peat! It was a long day, but I was on a high driving home from Turlock.
Louis had a great year in 2024: earning his Bronze Grand Championship, shown here under judge Raymond Yurick and handled by Lisa Fennell, at the age of 8 years old!
He finished the year ranked #3 in the AKC Grand Champion Rankings for California!
Louis won Select Dog for a 3 point major to finish his Grand Championship under Jon R. Cole. He finished his Grand Championship with 26 points, 7 majors under 7 different judges, 9 judges total with champions defeated under all 9 judges (all owner handled).
Louis wins his second major under Jennifer Kelly from the Bred by Exhibitor class. He also won best Bred by Exhibitor and an Award of Merit. We were flying high that weekend!

“This handsome, balanced boy has a beautiful outline and moves well. He has a nicely structured front and rear, a thick tail, and a kind head and expression. He made me smile as he was obviously quite pleased with himself. I was happy to award him Winner’s Dog, Best Bred By, and a Judge’s Award of Merit.”
